Application for 2D Curves Demonstration
Opletal, Pavel ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with planar curves used in computer graphics. It sums up general ideas of these curves and deals with particular methods for computing planar curves. It describes methods used for computing Ferguson cubic curves, Kochanek-Bartels spline, Cardinal spline, Catmull-Rom spline, Bézier curves and their modifications, Coons cubic curves, Coons cubic B-spline curves and NURBS. Practical part of this project deals with concept and impementation of tutorial, which demonstrates chosen curves.
Curves in Computer Graphics
Míchal, Luboš ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
This work deal with proposal and implementation demonstrational application, that will be instrumental towards demonstration curves used in computer graphic. Application is created in language C++ in environment Visual Studio 2005. By the help of those application can be individual steps of calculation watch and set control point. After it is possible watch differences among single used algorithms. Aim work is put near individual curves potential interested person about this theme.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Minařík, Antonín ; Matýšek, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating a graphics intro, which's size has to be below 64~kB. Described and used techniques includes: Phong reflection model, fog, skybox, generating textures from noise and shadow mapping. Intro is placed in a city and techniques of generating elements of the city are described. In addition, there are described methods for reducing file size and system for camera animation.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Milet, Tomáš ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of the intro with limited size. This work describes methods for reducing the size of the final application. The main part describes methods for generating graphic content and methods for its animation. It deals with creation of textures and geometry. Another part is aimed on the physical simulation of particle and elastic systems.

Escape Motions: Flame Painter Extensions
Piovarči, Rastislav ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Main goal of this master´s thesis is to propose and implement improvements to an original purely raster version of Flame Painter editor. An enhancement of the undo/redo system with emphasise to its functionality and memory requirements has been implemented. Moreover, the editor was extended by adding an ability to edit brush strokes using vector primitives which effectively assist the user in future stroke editing. This project was created in cooperation with employees of the Escape Motions Company.
